Barnett Waddingham, the pensions and professional services consultancy, has appointed seven new equity partners to bring its total number of partners to 93.
In addition the firm has made 15 principal and 15 associate promotions across a range of business areas including advising trustees, employers, insurers and private clients.
The firm says the promotions reflect strong organic growth and continued client demand.

“While our client base continues to grow, we have also expanded the range of services we provide in line with our strategic goals and client demand. This is reflected in the diversity of expertise in our 2022 promotions.”

Three long-standing partners are be retiring. They are Nick Salter, one of BW’s founding partners and previously senior partner from June 2012 to May 2020. Shirley Jackson, who led BW’s pensions management team and pensions and insurance longevity risk specialist, Dave Grimshaw.
• BW has also this month split off its Pension Executive and Management Services arm as a standalone, specialist business area to underline the importance of pension management services to trustees.
