The Reserve Bank of Australia has announced two internal appointments.
Penelope Smith has been promoted to head of the international department in the financial markets group from the position of deputy secretary, while Andrea Brischetto will take on the new role as head of the financial stability department in the financial system group after serving as deputy head of the domestic markets department.
The changes come following the secondment of Alexandra Heath to the Commonwealth treasury from head of international department, and the transfer of Jonathan Kearns to head of domestic markets in the financial markets group from head of financial stability department.
RBA will soon advertise the resulting vacancies.
