How Does Carvertise Work?
Carvertise is a platform that allows you to make money while you drive. It pays you every month to drive with an advertisement on your car. Ordinarily, the advertisements are part of campaigns run by Carvertise partner brands, usually going for one to six months. Carvertise searches for active drivers that get exposure to the places where the partners want their advertisements seen. As a driver, you can join with the following steps:
Step1: Complete Application Form
First, to sign up to Carvertise:
- Go to the Carvertise official website.
- Click on ‘Drivers’ on the front page of the website
- A new page will open, and on it, click on ‘Become a driver.’
- An application form is displayed right on your screen
- Fill in the application form. Input information on every page while clicking on the ‘Next’ button to access all three pages. Information required is like your name, email address, car model, etc.
- When done, click on the box at the bottom of the last page. It allows them to contact you via phone or email
- Hit the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 2: Find a Brand Match
Based on the information you had provided, Carvertise automatically begins to search for advertising campaigns from their databases within your locality. In other words, Carvertise partners with advertising companies in your city.

Since it is your car, you get the ability to select a brand to work with. One advantage of living in a populous city is that you will match their partners within a short period of time. After selecting a brand to work for, Carvertise will choose a local service shop to get your car wrapped through its professionals.
If you are planning to wrap your car, ensure you do not have a recent paint job because the paint may be damaged when you are unwrapping it in the near future. Thus, your car must have the factory paint to qualify for wrapping by Carvertise.
Additionally, You may have a partial wrap that is less than 50% or a full wrap that is more than 50%. Also, for security reasons, your car will not be wrapped on the windscreen and window panes.
Step 4: Receive Payment
You begin cashing in as soon as the wrapping is complete and your car is on the road. Here, you need to have a Carvertise mobile app that will track the miles you have covered. However, Carvertise will not pay you depending on the miles you cover. Instead, they pay according to the campaign’s size and brand.
Step 5: Remove the Wrap
As soon as the campaign is over, Carvertise will once again connect you to a local service shop to unwrap your car. Unwrapping is entirely free, and you should be aware of anyone asking for cash.
At this stage, you have two options, to;
- Receive payment for a one time campaign
- Go back and apply for another campaign

Carvertise Alternatives
Platform | Earnings | App Faultiness cases | Rating on Play Store |
---|---|---|---|
Carvertise | Up to $300 per month | Fewer cases and does not affect the earnings | 3.3 |
Sticker Ride | Earning is determined by the miles you cover | More reported cases resulting in low earnings | 2.4 |
Wrapify | Earning is determined by the miles covered | More reported cases resulting in low earnings | 2.2 |
Carvertise vs. StickerRide
You can earn a passive income as a driver in both Carvertise and Sticker Ride. What’s more, you can register on both platforms for free.
However, there is a significant difference when it comes to earnings. While you get paid for miles covered with Sticker Ride, Carvertise, on the other hand, will pay you on a monthly basis.
Additionally, there are several reported cases of Sticker Ride’s app not functioning to capacity, making drivers lose money which is rare with Carvertise.
Carvertise vs. Wrapify
Despite both platforms being free to register and a good source of passive income, there are also some differences. With Wrapify, there is no limit on how much you will earn, which is contrary to Carvertise. The more miles you get to travel, the more you make with Wrapify. (Usually, the pay is $0.20 per mile) compared to Carvertise’s $100 to $300 per month.
While there have been more reported cases of the app being faulty and not recording the miles covered, which significantly affects the driver since they won’t be able to earn on that given day with Wrapify, Carvertise doesn’t have such reports
However, drivers have had alarming complaints about car paint damages during unwrapping with Carvertise, which seldom happens with Wrapify.
Examples of cars allowed to advertise with Carvertise are Coupe, minivan, SUV, Sedan, and Pick Up truck. Motorbikes, RVs and Commercial Vehicles are not supported.
