Elements One-Page Plan Introduced

Elements, a mobile “financial monitoring platform” startup meant for both clients and advisors, announced it launched its own approach to the one-page financial plan. For now the OPP is only available on web, not mobile. Read and see screenshots and video about it on the firm’s blog post introduction to the offering. 

If a one-page financial plan sounds familiar, the financial planning provider RightCapital created a lot of buzz with its rollout of SnapShot in April. In the mobile realm, eMoney launched its Incentive app in January 2021 and a white-label version in March of this year.

Skience Rolls Out Product Bundles

To better match their offerings to firms at various stages of growth and speed implementation, tech provider and consultancy Skience introduced three new platform bundles, called Edge, Elite and Elite Plus. The three tiers include the firm’s award-winning client relationship management technology, digital new account opening and risk profiling and compliance audit functionality and other features.

Fidelity Announces Salesforce AppExchange Integration

Currently in pilot with some RIA and family office firms that custody with Fidelity Investments, the Fidelity Institutional Integration on Salesforce AppExchange is a new integration that links clients’ financial accounts within Salesforce to their Fidelity Institutional accounts on Wealthscape. This is meant to provide secure access to account information and to allow advisors to initiate actions directly within Salesforce. Availability to all Fidelity Institutional advisor firms is planned for early 2023.

Fintech Personnel Updates

Docupace announced a whole raft of executive hires and promotions this week. One name likely to jump out at many independent financial advisors is Sebastian Skwarek, co-founder of onboarding technology provider PreciseFP. He has been appointed to the role of executive vice president for engineering and president of Docupace Europe. PreciseFP was acquired by Docupace in fall 2021.

Pontera (originally FeeX), a fintech that empowers financial advisors to manage, trade and report on assets in held away accounts, including 401(k)s, 403(b)s, HSAs and more, has hired its first chief marketing officer, Nicole Zheng. She most recently served as president and CMO at Minim, a networking software and device company that she co-founded.

Northern Trust announced the appointment of Michael Buzza as global head of Network Management & Market Strategy. Buzza, previously EMEA head of Market Advocacy and Innovation Research, will oversee the teams dedicated to providing market access and insights across the traditional securities services markets within the Digital Assets and Financial Markets group. The firm created its Digital Assets and Financial Markets Group in June.
