Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc in Florida when it first made landfall Wednesday afternoon. It is now headed to South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and other states. This hurricane came ashore as a powerful category 4 storm with winds in excess of 150 mph. Hurricane Ian caused major damage and loss of life to many in its path. The aftermath has been hard to see but there is a way you can help.

I just found out that Activus Connect is hiring Bilingual Response Emergency Response Agents to help those impacted by Hurricane Fiona. They are taking applications this week. You must be able to start immediately! This job pays $20 per hour. You must be fluent in Spanish and English. Training is provided. Weekend work is likely.

You will also respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise. Communication contact will consist of voice, email, or chat.
What kind of skills will I need?
You will need customer service experience or be customer service oriented. You must be skilled with computer applications, have good English written and verbal communication skills, and have high-speed internet access at home.
How much does this job at TTEC pay?
You will get paid $15.84 per hour plus an additional $4.23 due to the nature of this role. In total, your hourly pay rate is $20.07 per hour.

Direct Interactions needs Disaster Relief agents who are fluent in English and those with English and Spanish language fluency.
What does the job at Direct Interactions involve?
Your primary job duties are to take inbound calls from people who are in immediate need of disasters. You will help those recovering by providing them with answers and resources to fill their physical, emotional, and financial needs.
Direct Interactions needs agents to respond to work within 24 hours of a request email when a natural disaster occurs. This is especially critical when they have a surge of calls due to a weather disaster.
What are the job requirements for Direct Interactions?
You must have excellent verbal skills including voice quality and grammar. Agents are required to handle work with accuracy and speed. You must be empathetic, calm, and poised to take back-to-back calls. Direct Interactions require a background check for this position.
Agents can work in 1-hour increments but you must commit to working 20 hours a week. All training is paid and you must be able to start working immediately.
How much will I make working for Direct Interactions?
