Non-bank lender Assetline Capital has launched two new long-term mortgage products, boosting its offering to small businesses and self-managed super funds.
Known as Horizon Mortgages, the products will offer greater funding choices in both commercial and residential property options.
They can be distributed via mortgage brokers and offer a 30-year maximum term mortgage on a loan size of $500,000 to $2.5 million, giving brokers the opportunity to help more SMEs and SMSFs unlock equity, refinance, or buy a commercial or investment property.
“Horizon Mortgages are particularly attractive to these markets because they offer flexible ways to verify income and are supported by an experienced credit team, providing more certainty and choices to SMEs and SMSFs who are looking to invest for their financial future,” said Assetline Capital national head of sales and distribution Royden D’Vaz (pictured above).

“By utilising the equity in existing properties, SMEs and SMSFs can unlock more possibilities to secure long-term investment or business growth is another attractive feature of these mortgages for these market segments.”
D’Vaz said Horizon Mortgages was striking a chord with brokers and clients who were looking to work with lenders who could help deliver certainty and control over their financial future.
“We are proud to bring these long-term mortgage products to brokers and their SME and SMSF clients and to make it easier for them to help realise their clients’ residential and commercial opportunities in property,” he said.
“We know the market is looking for choice and we look forward to supporting brokers as they work with their clients to unlock their clients’ property potential.”
D’Vaz said Horizon Mortgages had built strong traction with mortgage brokers who were responding to the greater choice they brought to the mortgage market and its willingness to assess diverse income streams across investments.

“These include alt-doc and full-doc options for businesses and SMSFs,” he said.
“This includes mortgage brokers such as Synergy Property Finance who are now working with Horizon Mortgages who has plans for further deal flow.”
Commercial finance brokerage Synergy Property finance director Paul Cleary (pictured above right) has commended Assetline Capital on its new mortgage offerings.
“Right from the start, Assetline Capital showed they could provide certainty,” he said.
“With Assetline Capital now on the FAST lender panel, it’s really good for me to know that I now have an alternative lender to put my commercial and SMSF transactions through, especially one with that extra level of expertise and flexibility.”
