How to Use Pesto Mayo
You’ll love this spread on anything that you use pesto or mayo on! It’s a great way to improve a classic sandwich – my husband called it a “restaurant sandwich” once he tried this sauce.
You can also mix it into your go-to homemade salad dressing recipe for a new take on a family favorite.
Using mayo on the outside of grilled cheese makes the bread super crispy, and pesto mayonnaise would definitely elevate your Air Fryer Grilled Cheese.
Use the mayo in this deviled eggs recipe, slather it on the bun of our Air Fryer Turkey Burgers, dunk some Air Fryer Waffles Fries in it, or use it on top of these Paleo Salmon Cakes.
How to Store Pesto Mayonnaise
Homemade pesto is known to oxidize (brown) when exposed to air but is still safe to eat. If using homemade pesto, this recipe is generally best used soon after it is made.
If using store-bought pesto, it will keep in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to a week.
You can also freeze any leftover pesto mayonnaise if needed. I prefer to freeze it in smaller quantities so that you don’t have to defrost a bunch when you just need a bit. I love to use these small Souper Cubes for individual portions.
Pro Tips/Recipe Notes
