Wealth manager and Financial Planner Evelyn Partners has appointed highly-experienced Financial Planner Gavin Tansey to its Liverpool office.
Mr Tansey has run his Wirral-based Gavin Tansey Financial Services for more than 12 years.
He has been an adviser since 2000, specialising in providing bespoke financial services to private clients, medical professionals, company directors and their corporate entities.
Richard Dawes, head of strategic partnerships at Evelyn Partners, said: “We look forward to welcoming Mr Tansey’s clients to the firm.”
Evelyn launched a Financial Planner recruitment programme in the fourth quarter of 2021 and Mr Tansey became the eighth adviser who have run their own business to join Evelyn.
Jonathan Waddington, regional managing partner at Evelyn Partners, said the agreement, “strengthens our Financial Planning capabilities in our Liverpool office and also demonstrates our commitment to continue growing in the North region. Gavin has worked hard to build his business over many years.”

He said he is looking forward to be able to continue to work in partnership with other professional advisers, including solicitors and accountants.
Evelyn Partners was created following the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson. It has £52bn in assets under management as at 30 September 2022. The firm has a network of offices across 26 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.
