Non-bank lender Resimac has bolstered its support for brokers, appointing three new people in key third party channel positions.
The trio will be working across Resimac’s residential mortgage and asset finance businesses in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
They are: head of lending Adam Daniels (pictured above left), business development manager Stefanie O’Connell (pictured above centre) and BDM Craig Platt (pictured above right), who will be working for Resimac Asset Finance.
Based on the Gold Coast, O’Connell most recently worked as a BDM with one of the big four banks and has 11 years’ experience in financial services across a number of roles. Resimac said O’Connell remained focused on helping brokers better understand and benefit from using Resimac’s specialist and prime home loan products.
“I enjoy building relationships with brokers as well as finding out what is important to them so that I can help them succeed in their business,” O’Connell said.
O’Connell joins BDM colleague Janelle Packman in serving mortgage brokers in Queensland and can be contacted on 0437 001 111 or stefanie.o’[email protected]
Daniels will take charge of the prime and specialist lending teams in the newly created role of head of lending.
He has more than 25 years of experience working in banking and financial services. Resimac said Daniels was driving improvements in credit assessment and would utilise his experience gained from serving customers and introducers on the front line.
“One of the things that drew me to Resimac was the opportunity to support brokers and the great work they do, using my customer and broker focus when making credit decisions,” Daniels said.
Resimac Asset Finance has also been strengthened with Platt joining its team in Victoria.
He will be introducing more brokers to Resimac solutions for car and equipment loans, which featured competitive rates.
Platt boasts more than 10 years’ experience in consumer and commercial finance, and most recently worked as a senior BDM for an asset finance provider.
“My specialty is in commercial equipment finance, and what I really enjoy is assisting my broker network with funding solutions for their clients,” Platt said.
Brokers can contact Craig on 0439 683 491 or [email protected].
Resimac has been very active recently when it comes to the highly competitive loans market, reaching out to brokers with discounted interest rate offers particularly on interest-only home loans aimed at property investor clients
