Chartered Financial Planner Stuart Anthony has joined the London-arm of Plymouth-based national IFA Continuum.
He joins from Alexander House Financial Services, an appointed representative of Quilter.
Mr Anthony, who has more 10 years of experience in financial services, said the three-way partnership between client, adviser and Continuum was one of the key attractions of joining the firm.
He said: “Since gaining my qualifications, I’ve been aware that the way individuals perceive the need for financial support is changing.
“People are becoming more aware that their Financial Planning is central to all they do at every stage of life. It is vital for all businesses, as well as individuals, to be on top of their finances both now and in the future.”
Mr Anthony specialises in delivering advice to individual clients, professionals and business owners, with a particular focus on helping those already in – or heading for – retirement.
He also specialises in IHT mitigation, estate planning, tax planning and business protection which often involves working closely with other professionals such as accountants, solicitors and tax advisers.
Martin Brown, managing partner at Continuum said: “The London area can be a challenge, with a huge diversity of individuals and businesses. Stuart understands those challenges – and the importance of building partnerships with clients to understand what’s really important, to build long lasting working relationships.”
Continuum was established in 2014. It has an in-house discretionary model portfolio service, My Continuum Wealth, and in total holds assets under influence in excess of £1.7bn.
