Utilising free resources such as Visit England and Days Out With The Kids is a quick and easy way to search for free or affordable family days out by region. 

 

Utilise cereal box vouchers

Most Kellogg’s cereal boxes will offer a free adult ticket to attractions such as Alton Towers, LegoLand, Madame Tussauds and more, when you purchase a child ticket. Take advantage of these offers to significantly reduce the cost of family days out during the holidays.

Free museum events

If you are looking to take the kids on an educational day out, many museums are free to enter. Yes, free! From the British Museum in London to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester, many are unaware that these educational days are actually free of charge.

Permanent exhibitions may be free, but specialist, limited time exhibitions usually charge a fee. Remember that you still have to book in advance to secure your free place, as turning up on the day may not guarantee entry.
