What does it take to be among the best business development managers (BDMs) in Australia? Great customer service? How about responsiveness and communication? Maybe it’s product knowledge?
Or perhaps, it should be all of the above.
Certainly that was the case for this year’s newly released 5-star BDM award winners – 55 of the absolute best in the country after Australian Broker received more than 900 nominations from its annual survey.
How were the 5-star BDMs chosen?
Back in February, Australian Broker conducted extensive research, beginning with a broker survey, encouraging them to identify the top BDMs they work with. They were asked to give their opinion on BDM performance across the areas of communication, responsiveness, product knowledge and customer service.
The list was eventually whittled down to 150 BDMs, with 55 individuals rating “excellent” across all categories – and being chosen for the 5-Star BDMs list.
