Aquamore, a commercial finance private lender, has appointed Narine Kalloghlian (pictured above) as new business development manager in NSW.
Matthew Porch, head of distribution at Aquamore, said expanding the lender’s BDM team is a core part of its strategy to increase the company’s market share in a rapidly evolving commercial lending landscape.
“Brokers are rapidly diversifying and providing commercial finance in their remit,” Porch said. “There’s a noticeable uptick of enquiry from brokers who traditionally only concentrated on residential lending that are now actively embracing commercial lending as the market continues to shift. Aquamore is well-placed to see past the risk and consider the deal holistically.”
In her new role, Kalloghlian will actively work with the VIC and QLD BDM teams under Porch’s direction to expand the company’s NSW metro and regional footprint. Her role involves supporting brokers to upskill in commercial finance, collaborating with non-bank partners, and achieving aggressive sales targets.
Commenting on her appointment, Kalloghlian said Aquamore directly aligns with her commercial finance product knowledge and broker experience. The lender is also a good fit with her culturally, as she prefers a fast-paced environment that delivers solutions for often complex deals, efficiently.
“My goal is that Aquamore is the private lender of choice for brokers by delivering commercial solutions efficiently and honestly,” she said.
“I have established loyal broker relationships that trust my ability to deliver results by going above and beyond for both them and their clients, as well as operating with integrity and transparency. I’m looking forward to continuing to evolve these relationships in this role.”
Kalloghlian has experience in financial analysis, sales, and relationship management, predominantly in the fintech space. Prior to joining Aquamore, she was an account manager then a senior loan writer for OnDeck.
