On 24 August 2024, we kicked off our fourth annual Tour de Talents – and what a weekend it was! The event was our first-ever Steps for South Sudan Challenge.
Throughout the August bank holiday, just three days, we set a goal to travel 3,000 miles along the borders of South Sudan. Every mile logged could raise up to £3 for our partners in South Sudan to reach even more incredible Savings Group members.
Every year, you have helped us achieve our target, and we really shouldn’t be surprised that, together, you helped us smash the goal again!
In just 3 days, you helped us log 3,749 miles – an outstanding achievement!
We are so grateful to everyone who took part. Because we reached our 3,000 mile goal, the prize fund was topped up so that £10,000 was raised to support our partners in South Sudan.
It was heartwarming to see the global participation in the challenge. There were over 540 different activities with miles logged in the UK, the USA, Spain, and more! Our friend Adam logged the most miles as an individual, 115.42 miles on his bike.
