Urgently hiring hurricane relief agentsThere are a few companies urgently hiring Hurricane Relief Agents to take calls from people who have been affected by this natural disaster.  Just a few days ago, Hurricane Helene strengthened to a category 5 hurricane causing much devastation and damage to residents in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.  Now Hurricane Milton will make a direct landfall in the state of Florida this week with powerful winds, rain, and storm surge.

Activus Connect is currently hiring empathetic, compassionate individuals to join their team answering calls and providing vital information to those affected by disasters.  You will also be responsible for providing accurate information to callers and documenting all call information.  You must be able to handle challenging situations with composure, have excellent communication/listening skills, and have a reliable high-speed internet connection.  This job pays $17 per hour with paid training.  This is a full-time seasonal position.

Atento – All equipment is provided

Atento is hiring candidates to support FEMA directly assisting callers with questions and concerns about local and state emergency services and resources.  You will provide callers with basic general and claims-specific information.  This company does require you to have 6 months of customer service experience, English fluency, type 25 wpm, moderate computer usage, and can work nights, weekends, and overtime.  You will make $14.84 per hour with paid training provided.  Full-time.

Direct Interactions – Hiring immediately!

Direct Interactions is hiring remote workers to work as Surge Team Customer Care Agents to support individuals in immediate need following disasters for their partner (American Red Cross).  You will be the lifeline for individuals and families working toward a sense of normalcy.  You will help them find shelter, food, clothing, blankets, health and mental health services, and resources.  Not only will you take calls but you will also research databases to resolve customer issues.  This opportunity requires excellent verbal and grammar skills, problem-solving, computer proficiency, good listening ability, and empathy.  Pays $15 per hour with paid training.  You can work in 1-hour increments.

MCI

Work from home as a Hurricane Relief Call Center rep to respond to disaster relief efforts, respond to inquiries and other duties.  Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office, empathy, the ability to multitask, and typing 20 wpm accurately.  Pays $12.50 to $16 per hour with paid training.

Omni – Apply with a laptop or desktop

Omni is hiring Super Heroes to be ready to take calls and assist victims of a hurricane.  These are specifically looking for candidates with empathy and compassion to be on the front lines.  You will also need exceptional communication skills, keen attention to detail with computer proficiency.  Pays $14 to $20 per hour.

PSI

PSI is accepting applications for agents to support FEMA and provide public support to individuals needing assistance, process claims, or applications related to disaster relief and emergency management efforts.  Requires 1 year of customer support experience, strong research and communication skills, computer proficiency, and familiarity with CRM.

Telus International – Flexibility is essential

Telus is looking for heroic support agents (who have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others) to join their team of Disaster Relief Support reps.  You will assist individuals seeking federal assistance, answer questions about registrations, guide them through relief programs, and provide appropriate instructions.  You will share phone numbers and agency referrals as well as accurately enter data into their database.  Requires English fluency, typing skills, empathy, ability to multitask, and a high school diploma or equivalent.  Pays $18.86 per hour.

Hurricane Rapid Response Agents – Equipment, setup, and training provided

Tyme Global is recruiting agents to help with the upcoming hurricane season and assist others with resources facing a national disaster.  Requires exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
