Chime welcomes Credit Karma, Capital One leader, Rucha Fulay, as VP of Analytics

Today, Chime announced that it welcomed analytics leader Rucha Fulay as its first VP of Analytics. Fulay will oversee the company’s analytics across the growth, product, marketing, and strategy and research functions.

Fulay joins Chime after a storied career spanning Capital one, Electronic Arts, and finance giant, Credit Karma. While most recently VP of Analytics at Credit Karma, Fulay built a team of analysts in charge of monetization for product and marketing. The group helped grow revenue from $750M to $1.8B, rapidly becoming one of the company’s most respected and impactful teams. Her cutting-edge approach to data analytics has helped her repeatedly grow, shape, and lead analytics organizations to outstanding performance throughout her career, which has spanned over 15 years in leadership roles.

“I’ve been watching Chime from the sidelines for years and am constantly impressed with its products and the company’s member engagement levels. I believe that Chime’s member-focused ethos and commitment to innovating with them in mind sets it apart. I’m thrilled to be on board and continue building a strong cross-functional analytics organization that delivers value to Chime and helps take us into our next growth phase.”

– Rucha Fulay

“We’re so excited to have Rucha join our team to lead analytics at Chime. Not only has her career demonstrated her capacity for impact and growth on the business side, but also her ability to build teams grounded in rigor, achieving outcomes, and overall excellence. We can’t wait to see how she shapes analytics at Chime moving forward.”
