Chartered Financial Planner Kreston Reeves Financial Planning Ltd has been rebranded as Craven Street Wealth following its takeover by corporate finance firm Craven Street Capital.
London-based Craven Street Capital acquired the firm in March 2021 and has since made a number of acquisitions.
A number of director and management appointments have been made recently as the company gears up for further growth.
Craven Street Wealth says that while the branding has changed the name of the company, the Financial Planners and support team remain the same.
The firm’s Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm status also remains unchanged.
The group has continued to grow by acquisition recently.
In March Kreston Reeves Financial Planning acquired Canterbury Financial Planner Tarvos Wealth, boosting its total assets under advice to £1.15bn.
Craven Street Capital created the group with the simultaneous acquisitions of Canterbury-based Kreston Reeves Financial Planning and Christchurch Investment Management Ltd in March 2021. Funding for the transactions was provided by Shawbrook Bank.
The takeover of Tarvos Wealth in March boosted Craven Street Wealth to 18 Financial Planners, nine with Chartered Financial Planner status.
Tom Barnett, managing director of Craven Street Wealth, said of the rebrand: “This is an important milestone in bringing together of the various firms within the group. I would like to assure our clients that they will continue to receive the same high standard of advice and support whilst we continue to develop and expand our investment propositions, range of services, platform technology and systems”.
The Craven Street Wealth group now has 40 members of staff in total and offices in London, Kent and Sussex.
Kreston Reeves LLP is a separate organisation to Kreston Reeves Financial Planning and remains unaffected by the rebrand. Craven Wealth says the rebranding of Kreston Reeves Financial Planning Limited does not have any impact on Kreston Reeves LLP.
