Netflix- Basic with Ads
Launching on 3 November at 4 PM, you can sign up for the new Basic with Adverts plan on Netflix.
This is a cheaper subscription than they currently offer.
You get mostly the same features as their Basic plan; you just get ads thrown in.
However, you won’t be able to download any content to watch at another time, so this may be a bigger deal.
You can still change plans to upgrade or cancel at any time.
How many ads will there be?
Adverts will run for 15 to 30 seconds, and you won’t be able to skip them (but you can mute them).
Ads will play at the start (pre-roll), and during the films or series you’re watching (mid-roll).
You’ll likely get around 4 – 5 minutes of ads for every hour of content you stream.
Having a cheaper plan means that you need to waste a bit of time with ads.
But did you know that you can get paid to watch ads?
