@SIPP hires 2 senior execs from rivals



Pensions and SIPP provider @SIPP has hired Matt Storey from XPS as its new head of business development.

The firm says that Mr Storey will help accelerate expansion plans and joins after more than a decade at XPS Self Invested Pensions. 

Mr Storey will be responsible for managing the @SIPP sales team and his own patch in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

@SIPP has also recruited Kerry Houghton as a business development manager. She worked for 16 years at SIPP provider and wealth manager Mattioli Woods and has worked in financial services for 35 years. She is qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner.

 

@SIPP managing director Eddie McGuire, said: “We’re thrilled to be attracting people of the calibre of Kerry and Matt. These hires not only boost our capabilities and presence closer to home but across the rest of the UK too.”

Last month @SIPP announced it had agreed to provide administration services for Royal London’s SIPP book, which includes a portfolio of commercial properties. 

@SIPP is a SIPP and SSAS provider based in Glasgow with an office in Essex. The company has £1.95bn in assets under administration for 4,400 clients and 550 financial advisers. @SIPP is also a specialist in commercial property and has 1,250 properties within Sipps on its books.
