Fluffy and buttery biscuits are beloved by most families. Grabbing a bag of frozen biscuit dough from the store is both convenient and affordable.

It’s fast and simple to toss them into the air fryer to make a quick side for dinner or to serve with a speedy breakfast.

Please note, this recipe is for making store-bought frozen biscuits in the air fryer. If you’re interested in making your own biscuits, check out our homemade Stuffing Biscuit recipe. They’re absolutely delicious and also bake well in the air fryer.

How Long Do You Cook Frozen Biscuits in an Air Fryer?

On average it will take 11-13 minutes to cook 6-9 frozen biscuits. It can vary on how many biscuits you are cooking at a time and the size of each biscuit.

Equipment Needed

I used our 5.8-quart Cosori air fryer, which is large enough for cooking 6-9 frozen biscuits at a time in the basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer and how many biscuits you’d like to cook, you may need to cook multiple batches.

Occasionally I will also use air fryer parchment to prevent the basket from getting messy.

What to Serve with Air Fryer Frozen Biscuits

Biscuits are typically served as a side to large meals. They work great alongside Dry Brined ChickenInstant Pot Ham, or Air Fryer Turkey Breast.

For veggies, I love biscuits with a Chopped Kale Salad, Fried Cabbage With BaconHasselback Roasted BeetsAir Fryer Butternut SquashCream Cheese Mashed Potatoes, and Air Fryer Bussel Sprouts With Bacon.

These air fryer frozen biscuits are also fantastic for breakfast. Serve them alongside some make-ahead scrambled eggs, meal prepped bacon, or Instant Pot Egg Bites.

For sweet spreads, you can’t beat our Low-Sugar Strawberry Jam, Apple Butter, or Peach Freezer Jam.

Pro Tips/Recipe Notes

  • Do not thaw the biscuit dough before baking them in the air fryer.
  • It is not necessary to preheat the air fryer.
  • It is ok to crowd the biscuits in the air fryer a little bit. They will increase by about 25% in size as they bake.
  • If you find that the biscuits are browning too quickly on the tops, you can flip them for the remainder of the cooking time.
  • To reheat baked biscuits, cook them at 320F for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
