How did you hear about the Arise® Platform?  

I heard about the Arise® Platform through Facebook. 

What sparked your interest in using the Arise® Platform? 

I liked that you could be your own boss, make your own schedule, and have a flexible lifestyle. When I found out about the platform, I knew it was going to help my personal life. 

Are you currently servicing any programs, and what clients have you serviced? 

Yes, I am currently servicing Intuit QuickBooks—but I have serviced a couple of different clients.  

My first client was Intuit TurboTax and I have also serviced the home improvement program. 

Why were you interested in those programs, and what did you like about them? 

When I first signed up on the Arise® Platform in 2020, I saw that TurboTax was a client. That stuck out to me because I thought I could learn so much more beyond what I already knew about business financials and income tax. 

And when I saw the QuickBooks class, I was so excited—I felt a sense of euphoria. 

I thought to myself, “This is the challenge I have been looking for. This is an opportunity for growth and development!” I was really looking forward to that one, and I have learned so much. 

How has the Arise® Platform improved your life? 

The thing I really love about the Arise® Platform is how flexible, reliable, and secure it is.  

By being able to use such a reputable platform, it has really helped me be free in my personal life. 

I feel a sense of freedom that has enabled me to be there for my kids and family. I never have to find a babysitter and I can work around my kid’s schedule. 

And professionally, my goals are aligning with what I envisioned. I am now my own boss, and I plan to continue evolving. I look forward to growing my business on the platform.

Ever since I started, I have felt a sense of empowerment.  

How would you describe the typical experience for someone when they are servicing?  

Personally, I believe everyone should start their day with a grateful attitude by forgetting yesterday—because today’s a whole new day.

It’s not always easy servicing, but I always support customers by actively listening, which comes naturally to me. 

I am a gentle person who likes to give others the opportunity to speak. And when they do, I can find the information I need to help them, or I can find another course of action to take. But I try not to let anything stress me out. I just keep going and am always there for the customer. 

There is a lot of help and support that each program offers—whether it be through articles, chat, or a live person. You have so many resources to help you keep going—to find what you need. 

It’s just a matter of being diligent to find exactly what you are looking for. 

Can you tell me a little more about how the Arise® Platform has enabled you to explore your own interests? 

Yes! Although I had to put some time into learning how to use the platform and provide customer service to clients, it gave me a lot of freedom to do other things.  

And on the Arise® Platform, I was able to learn about all these different clients. 

I became really inspired by other Service Partners on the Arise® Platform, and I started making similar professional moves within my life as well. 

And after watching a lot of motivational videos and being my own boss, I decided to take this as far as I could. I thought, “I’m going to open my own store!” 

Now I have two projects I am working on—my store and my business on the Arise® Platform. 

What does it feel like running your own business? 

My confidence has skyrocketed! 

I ask myself all the time this same question and so do others when they ask things like: “What do you do every day? Or what do you do for a living?”  

I can now say that I run my own business. I am a business owner. I am a CEO. I am not someone’s employee and don’t work 9-5.  

There was a time where I was around a lot of educated people like teachers and others who were affiliated with doctors, and I felt like I was in a world with so many people with advanced backgrounds—and I felt stuck for such a long time. 

But now I can sit with them and converse and feel good about myself.  

I run my own company, and there is just so much that I can do to grow—and I feel confident about that. 

It’s a great feeling when you’re an entrepreneur and feel like the opportunities are endless. 

You just have to put in some time, dedication, and work to make it happen. 

Is there anything else you want people to know about the Arise® Platform, the client you service, or you?  

Just keep trying and keep pushing through certification classes because once the class is over—and once you have learned everything you can—all the resources are there to help you. You’re never alone! 

That said, I think you can also learn to use the lessons learned during the certification classes to improve your personal life. You may be dealing with someone difficult in your life, and it’s okay to show them some empathy. 

Most people don’t understand the difference between sympathy and empathy, but people who learn the difference can resolve a lot of chaos—and it has helped me in both my professional and personal life. 

It’s okay to put your own interests aside and put someone else first. Showing empathy can help with that. 

Do you have any advice for someone who is new to the Arise® Platform? 

Well, what I would say is this: 

Keep your dedication alive! If you want to keep doing great things in life, you must be dedicated and willing to learn.
