Amazon Hiring Customer Care Reps

As a Customer Care Rep, your overall job responsibility is to build long-term relationships with each customer by providing a great-class experience.  You will be required to assist customers over the phone, email, and chat to resolve any issues they have as well as questions about billing, insurance verification, products, or services right from your home office.  You also help ease their concerns about shipping their medications, copays, tech support and navigating the website.

Due to the confidential nature of this job, you will ensure customer privacy and safety as required by Amazon in their Work from Home policy.

What are the requirements?

This entry-level work from home job only requires you to have minimal skills and/or experience.  All candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.  You also need 6 months of professional experience working with computer and web-based tools and be able to multitask with good computer and phone skills.

Please note that this position will require you to work approximately 40 hours a week.  There are occasions where you may work additional hours or less depending on workload and volume.  This means at times, you may have to work outside of normal business hours.

How much is the pay?

The pay is undisclosed for this position but Amazon does pay their employees (remotely or not) by the hour.

Will I receive a free computer?

Amazon is one of the few employers that sends remote agents a free computer/laptop to work from home.  The job description does not specify what kind of computer or equipment you will need in your home office so they may send you a computer for this position.
