Evelyn hire to help boost international Financial Planning



Financial Planner and wealth manager Evelyn Partners, formerly Tilney and Smith & Williamson, has recruited Nick Reeves from Deutsche Bank to boost its international Financial Planning team based in London.

Mr Reeves rejoins the company after four years at Deutsche Bank where he was head of UK Wealth Planning & Intermediaries.

Prior to Deutsche Bank he was a partner in the London Financial Planning team at Tilney which formed part of Evelyn Partners. He has also worked at Barclays Wealth.  

At Evelyn Partners in his new role he will support the firm’s ambition to expand its Financial Planning offering to clients who need international advice.  

 

He will report to Mark Pollock and will work on helping with pre-arrival planning for clients looking to come to the UK, structuring advice for clients looking to leave the UK and advice to UK resident but non-domiciled clients.  

Mark Pollock, partner in Evelyn Partners’ London Financial Planning team, said: “I am very pleased to welcome back Nick to the business to help us expand our offering of international Financial Planning services. Nick has a considerable amount of experience and expertise in this space and I know he’ll be instrumental in helping us continue to grow our presence in the market.”

Evelyn Partners was created following the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson and manages or advisers on £55.8 billion of assets. It claims to be the second largest UK wealth manager measured by EBITDA and the sixth largest professional services firm ranked by fee income. 

It has offices in across 27 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.
